Conjunctions in sentences – ‘The Writing Revolution’ by Judith Hochman has definitely started a writing revolution. This product uses sentence frameworks with the conjunctions; but, so, and & because. Writing tasks are scaffolded and teachers can choose the worksheet that matches the needs of the student. An answer key is provided to make sure that students are on track. Conjunctions are clearly given on the page for students to reference and use. Students are provided with a sentence framework within the subject area of Geography. In Western Australia (and the Australian Curriculum) this matches the Year One content however, if you are using this for writing purposes as a stand-alone unit, you can use this across a few year levels.
