Alphabet names and sounds – This PowerPoint lesson goes through the initial a-z code to revise the names of letters and the sounds.

Includes;

• WALT – we are learning to – briefly outlines lesson objectives
• Letter name slides – a-z in random order (you can do this as letter naming or sounds)
• Phonological awareness (initial sounds) – students are asked to say the initial/first sound of each picture. Cute pictures will help engage your students!
• Combined letters and pictures – say the word, say the initial sound, say the letter (this is up to how you as a teacher, tutor, speech therapist or parent wish to do this for your students)
