• Teacher checklists – two outcome checklists for each lesson
• Summative assessments – for sound, light and combined (also includes extension questions for students achieving a higher level)
• Workbook cover pages if you wish to staple the required worksheets into a workbook for each student
• Select your preferred worksheets for each lesson plan
• I created this unit for my own class and have found these activities very useful and appropriate for year one students. There are some additional discussions that I have on top of this and you can do the same. Add your own unique adaptions to the unit. Alternatively, if you are not sure how to teach this topic, just use this pack.

• The activity book ‘What the ladybird heard’ is a nice book to use alongside this unit.
