This is an engaging warm up that I have trialled with my own Year One class. It can also be linked with history and time concepts, as in; dinosaurs were in the past! I now use this in my Year Two class on a weekly basis as this warm-up has been great for them too!

This lesson is intended to be used as a warm-up. If these concepts are NEW to your students, then you will have to teach them first however, this is a great lesson to be used as a daily warm-up and to review previously taught concepts!
